Never Be Afraid to Pivot | Sarah Kaminski, Owner of Best Ever Granola

Episode Summary

Sarah Kaminski created Best Ever Granola as a pivot during the height of the 2020 pandemic. After seeing a steep membership decline in The Veg Out Project, her meal planning and health coaching company, she realized that she had to take immediate action. Granola just happened to be one of her most popular recipes, so she decided to see if she could make a business out of it. In this episode, Sarah talks about her personal health journey, the challenges of getting her business started, and how she sources the best ingredients for her products.

Episode Notes

During the pandemic, Sarah Kaminski successfully pivoted her business from The Veg Out Project to Best Ever Granola. After multiple iterations, she eventually nailed the final recipe which she and her family affectionately dubbed as the “best ever.”

As a brand-new food entrepreneur, Sarah approached her business with a fresh perspective and without overthinking her strategy. She quickly realized that there was a need in the local market for an artisan-made, small batch granola. Today, Sarah is committed to using only wholesome, clean, and simple ingredients in her products.
